Locader ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it when you use the Locader iOS application and related services (the "Service").

When you tap "Invite" on a trip, the app reads your device's contacts list locally so you can pick people to invite. Your contact list is never uploaded to our servers in bulk. Only the name and email or phone number of the specific contacts you choose to invite are sent to Locader. You can revoke contacts permission at any time in iOS Settings → Locader.
When you invite someone who doesn't already have a Locader account, we create a minimal placeholder record so they can be added to your trip. That record contains only what you provided — typically the contact's name, plus an email or phone number — and is marked as "pending." If that person later signs up for Locader using the same email, or adds the matching phone number to their profile, the placeholder is merged into their account and they automatically gain access to trips they were invited to.
Pending records are not used for marketing, not shared with third parties, and contain no password or other sensitive information. If a pending invitee asks us to remove their data, they (or you, the inviter) can email locader@locader.app.
If you use Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, we receive a verified email address and name from that provider. We never receive your Apple or Google password. These providers' practices are governed by their own policies:

No system can guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at locader@locader.app.
We retain your account and trip data for as long as your account remains active. Upon a verified deletion request, we will remove your personal information and trip data within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.

Locader is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
